PANZER ART 1:35 StuG III F8 upper hull with concrete armor is a resin part for the upper hull of the StuG III Ausf. F8 assault gun with improvised concrete armor.

This is a resin accessory in 1:35 scale, not a model on its own. It replaces the upper hull of a model of the StuG III Ausf. F8 assault gun and adds finely rendered improvised concrete armor, with which crews strengthened the protection of the front of the vehicle.
The StuG III Ausf. F8 was the version fitted with the longer 75 mm gun, intended for fighting tanks. Crews in the field often increased the resistance of the frontal armor by adding a layer of concrete poured into improvised boxes. This solution was heavy, but it gave both psychological and some ballistic protection against lighter anti-tank fire.
Before building, wash the mold release agent off the part and cut off the casting blocks. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The rough concrete surface comes out superbly after spraying with a primer, drybrushing and layering light pigments and washes to bring up the texture.
The accessory is made of resin and is supplied unpainted and without the base model. Glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
