Responsibility details are not available.
A newly developed injection-molded plastic kit of the German StuG IV (Sd.Kfz.167) assault gun in its early version, in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Academy. The kit is of modern design with fine surface detail, allows a build with open or closed hatches and contains decals for several marking options. Because the StuG IV was created on the chassis of the Panzer IV, the kit shares a considerable part of its parts with the corresponding tank.
The StuG IV was a German assault gun of the Second World War that combined the proven assault gun superstructure with the hull and running gear of the Panzer IV medium tank. It was armed with a 7.5 cm StuK L/48 gun and served both for direct infantry support and as an effective anti-tank weapon in the final phase of the war. The early version is marked by characteristic details of the superstructure and of the equipment from the beginning of production.
Assemble and paint the running gear and any interior first, before you close up the hull. It is a good idea to paint the tracks and the road wheels separately. For a faithful look, use washes and pigments to create the effect of mud and dust; apply the color transitions of the camouflage with an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
