This accessory for 1:35 scale from the Special Hobby range renders the Ukrainian Stugna-P anti-tank missile system. It is an accessory from the field of ordnance and weapons, that is, not a vehicle kit in its own right. The set is intended to complete a figure scene, a diorama or a model of a vehicle to which you want to add convincingly rendered armament.
The Stugna-P is a Ukrainian anti-tank missile system developed after the year 2000. It consists of a launcher on a mount with a guidance and observation unit and of missiles in transport containers, and the crew can operate the system from a distance as well. In modeling practice it appears above all in scenes of modern infantry, where it forms a bold and easily recognizable element.
Separate the parts with a sharp cutter or a fine saw, level the mating surfaces with abrasive paper and rid them of dust and grease before gluing. Glue the small components with cyanoacrylate glue applied drop by drop. Apply a filler primer before painting, which unifies the surface and improves the adhesion of the paint. For legibility of the shapes it works well to spray dark into the shadows and a lighter shade onto the upper surfaces, complemented by a fine picking out of the edges with a dry brush. The set looks good set into terrain, because the tripod legs of the mount allow a natural placement on uneven ground.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The figures, the vehicle, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
