The Sturm-Infanteriegeschütz 33 came about by fitting a heavy infantry gun of 15 cm caliber into a tall enclosed superstructure built on the Panzer III chassis. The vehicle was intended for direct fire at shorter range, was built only in a small batch and differs from the ordinary assault gun above all in its massive angular superstructure, which gives a model an unmistakable shape.
Wash the parts first in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap to get rid of the remains of mold release agent, as otherwise paint will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a knife and never snap them. Do the sanding wet and with respiratory protection, because resin dust does not belong in your lungs. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), as ordinary cement for plastic has no effect on resin. A filler primer before painting pays off, as it unifies the resin with the plastic of the kit.
