A resin set of replacement wheels in 1:35 scale from DEF Model. The wheels are cast with a realistic bulge of the tire where it meets the road, so that the vehicle looks naturally loaded. The finish matches tires of the MP913 type and replaces the wheels from the base kit. The target kit is HobbyBoss.
The DANA model 77 is a wheeled 152 mm self-propelled gun-howitzer on an off-road chassis. Its massive wheels with their off-road tread are among the striking features of the vehicle, and a faithful bulge of the tires underlines the impression of the weight of heavy hardware.
Wash the wheels free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Fit them so that the bulged part of the tire meets the base. Once painted and weathered with dust and mud effects, they look realistic.
This is a detail accessory, not a kit of the vehicle in its own right. It is supplied unpainted, without paints and glue.
