This resin accessory in 1:35 scale is not a model in its own right but a set of replacement road wheels capturing an improvisation of the period, the use of captured German wheels from the Panther tank on Soviet vehicles. The set is intended for the T-34 from one of the Soviet plants and for the SU-85 and SU-100 self-propelled guns.
Toward the close of the Second World War Soviet production suffered a shortage of some components, and so captured German Panther road wheels sometimes turned up on T-34 tanks and on the SU-85 and SU-100 tank destroyers. This unusual combination is a rewarding subject for an out-of-the-ordinary model.
Wash the resin parts free of release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways while sanding. Set the rubber tires apart in matte black and suggest the wear with pigments and dust.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
