Metal buildable tracks 1:35 T-35 from the Hungarian manufacturer Friulmodel — white metal links as a replacement for the plastic tracks from the box.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an accessory set of metal tracks, not a vehicle model. It contains individual links cast in white metal, which are joined with wire pins into a fully movable track. It replaces the plastic tracks supplied in the basic kit of the Soviet multi-turret heavy tank T-35 in 1:35 scale.
The T-35 was a Soviet heavy tank of the interwar era and the only series-produced five-turret tank in the world. In its size and silhouette it was a symbolic land cruiser; it was committed at the beginning of the Second World War, where its unwieldiness showed. The long running gear with many road wheels calls for a matching length of track.
Because of the length of the running gear, reckon with a larger number of links — work in sections. Clean off the casting remains, assemble the links one after another and thread the wire pins through. The track can be left movable or tacked in place with cyanoacrylate. Spraying primer onto the metal improves the grip of the paint, and the weight of the links creates a realistic sag.
An accessory set — it does not contain the vehicle model, glue or paints. It is meant as an upgrade for a separately bought kit.
