Tankmen of the First World War era in 1:35 scale is a plastic figure set from the manufacturer Master Box with tank crews of the First World War period.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic set holds figures of tank crewmen of the First World War period, divided into pairs of a soldier and an officer representing the French, German and British armies. The figures are captured in the period coveralls and helmets typical of the first tank crews. They are glued and painted.
The First World War brought tanks into action and with them an entirely new kind of soldier, the tank crewman. Crews wore protective coveralls, leather accessories and distinctive helmets that shielded them from splinters inside the cramped hulls. The set recalls these early tankmen across several armies.
Separate the parts from the sprues and clean up the parting lines with a fine file. We recommend a primer underneath and building up the tones of the coveralls and the leather step by step. The faces and the folds of the cloth come out after a light wash; lighten the leather accessories slightly with a dry brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
