A photo-etched detail set in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. It is the second set of German tool boxes, extending the range of photo-etched accessories for armored subjects and Wehrmacht vehicles of the Second World War. It contains fine brass parts which replace or supplement coarser plastic items. Neither the model nor a base kit is included in the package.
Tool boxes and stowage boxes were part of the ordinary equipment of German military vehicles. They were carried on the fenders and the hull sides and are a characteristic detail that raises the credibility and the visual value of a model of a tank, a half-track or a truck.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and make the bends over a bending tool or a metal ruler. To join them, use super glue (cyanoacrylate) or an adhesive meant for photo-etch. Degrease the metal surface before painting and go over it with a primer.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a model. The base kit, glue, paints and any other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
