A photo-etched detail set in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. It contains fine brass parts for building the German tool boxes that were carried on armored subjects and Wehrmacht vehicles during the Second World War. The set serves to replace or supplement coarser plastic parts and to enrich dioramas. Neither the model nor a base kit is included in the package.
German military vehicles of the Second World War carried a number of tool boxes and spare parts with them, fastened on the fenders, on the hull or on the hull sides. These boxes are among the typical details that bring any model of a tank, a half-track or a truck to life and lend it credibility.
The photo-etched parts are separated with a sharp knife on a cutting surface and bent over a bending tool or a metal ruler. They are glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with a special adhesive for photo-etch. Before painting it is worth degreasing the metal surface and applying a primer, ideally with an airbrush.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a model. The base kit, glue, paints and any other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
