An Eduard photo-etched detail set for the Tpz.1 Fuchs in 1:35 scale. It is not a model of the vehicle but a set of fine metal parts for refining the exterior of the carrier.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of photo-etched metal parts from the Czech maker Eduard of Obrnice near Most, meant to refine the plastic kit of the German Tpz.1 Fuchs wheeled carrier in 1:35 scale. It is not a model of the vehicle but an accessory that replaces coarser plastic features with thin and truer photo-etched parts. The exact contents and scope of the set follow the instructions enclosed in the package.
The Transportpanzer 1 Fuchs is a German amphibious wheeled armored personnel carrier with a 6x6 chassis, which has served with the Bundeswehr since the end of the 1970s. It is used to carry troops, for reconnaissance and communications and in specialized versions for radiological, chemical and biological reconnaissance. It is marked by a roomy box body and the ability to swim.
Separate the photo-etched parts carefully from the fret, make the bends on a bending tool or along the etched lines and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Fine surfaces can be warmed before bending so that the metal holds its shape better. Apply a primer before painting, ideally with an airbrush, and weather the surfaces with a wash and pigments just like the rest of the model.
The accessory does not hold the model itself, glue or paints. It is meant to complete an existing kit.
