The diorama accessory 1:35 Type 95 HA-GO Position from RT-Diorama is meant for a view with a dug-in position of the Japanese Type 95 Ha-Go light tank in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a diorama accessory in 1:35 scale, not a model of the tank. The subject is a firing position, that is a piece of terrain worked so that a vehicle has cover in it while still having a view into its field of fire. RT-Diorama specializes in diorama accessories of this kind.
The Type 95 Ha-Go was a Japanese light tank of the mid-1930s. It weighed around seven and a half tons, had a crew of three, an air-cooled diesel engine and a main armament of 37 mm caliber supplemented by machine guns. It was deployed in China, on the Malay peninsula, in the Philippines and on the islands of the Pacific. Against Allied medium tanks it was hopelessly weak in the second half of the war, and Japanese units therefore often dug their tanks into the terrain and used them as static firing points. It is this way of deployment that makes a rewarding and historically documented subject for a diorama.
A dug-in position is a view that rests on the terrain, not on the vehicle. So it pays to think about the surroundings: heaped earth, camouflage with vegetation, track marks and figures of the crew. The composition works best from a low viewpoint, where it shows how little of the vehicle sticks out. The package contents and the dimensions are stated on the box, so you can plan the layout of the terrain from them in advance.
