1:35 Typesetting Russian military license plates ~1993-Present (State Standart 50577-93) (All kits)

What kind of set this is

A set of characters for putting together Russian military license plates in 1:35 scale. The typesetting conception means that you put the combination you need together from individual digits and letters and are not dependent on fixed plates. The set is offered as universal, that is, usable on any model in this scale.

What it is suited to

License plates belong among the small things that decide the believability of a model of a vehicle, and at the same time they are often left out on models. The eye notices them on a finished vehicle at once, though, so it pays to devote a few minutes extra to them. The form of the characters comes from the Russian state standard of 1993, which the designation of the set refers to as well; it therefore covers the period from 1993 to the present.

How the elements are applied

The procedure for application differs between the individual Quinta series, so go by the manufacturer's instructions enclosed with the set before the work. Paint the place the plate is to go, let it dry perfectly and degrease it. Seat the characters one by one with tweezers and keep checking that the gaps between them come out evenly and that the whole plate sits horizontally. You will make the work easier for yourself with good light and a magnifier. Place the plate onto a painted and dried vehicle, not onto bare plastic.

Who it is for

The set will be appreciated by builders of models of Russian and Soviet hardware in 1:35 scale and by builders of dioramas who want legible and unmissable details on their vehicles. The paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
