Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:35 scale is meant for a plastic model of the American Sikorsky UH-60L Black Hawk multi-purpose helicopter. It is not a kit or a model in its own right but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields without slow hand-cutting of tape.
The Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk is an American multi-purpose transport helicopter that has formed the backbone of US Army assault and supply transport since the end of the 1970s. It carries troops and materiel, evacuates casualties and flies special missions. The UH-60L version brought more powerful engines and a strengthened transmission. The machine became known for its toughness and the breadth of its service.
Degrease the glazing of the cockpit and the side windows thoroughly. Lift the individual masks off the backing and lay them on the frames, working from one corner on large areas so that no bubbles form. Fine-tune the transitions with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin layers. The wheel masks separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at an acute angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
