A figure outside the usual military subject matter: a partisan is recognized by the combination of civilian clothing with military items, which he gets hold of however he can. It is precisely this mismatch that makes the figure interesting for the modeler, because it is not tied down by a prescribed pattern of uniform. Partisan subject matter calls for a different setting from a firing position: the edge of a wood, a field track, a yard with a farm building, an abandoned vehicle.
