A pair of cooperating figures makes up the set 1:35 Ukrainian Sniper Couple from the Ukrainian brand Spalah - a sniper and his spotter in one box.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings two figures that belong together: the shooter and a second soldier who helps him with observation and with marking the target. That is exactly why it is sold as a whole and not piece by piece. The content matches twice the usual single-figure item of the same brand.
A solo figure in a diorama works like an illustration, whereas two figures already form a relationship between themselves and the viewer works out for himself from the way they are turned what is going on in the scene. A sniper pair is a rewarding subject in this respect: the figures are low to the ground, they share one spot and they tie naturally to the terrain, to cover or to the edge of a ruin. So it fits even into small scenes the size of a palm.
First lay both figures dry on the intended base and only then decide on the height of the terrain. Wash the resin, take the supports off and fix the joints with super glue. Run the painting on both figures in parallel, so that the camouflage pattern and the tones match. A unifying layer of pigment on the lower parts will tie both figures to the base.
Both figures come unpainted and unassembled; paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
