A figure of a Ukrainian soldier at the moment of firing an FGM-148 Javelin anti-tank missile, 1:35 scale. An accessory for a model or for a diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
The FGM-148 Javelin is a portable anti-tank missile system operated by a single soldier. It consists of a launch tube with the missile and a detachable sighting unit, and the operator carries it on the shoulder when firing. The missile homes on the target by itself and typically attacks from above, where armored vehicles have thinner armor. It is precisely the stance of the gunner at the moment of launch that makes this figure a rewarding scene, because it carries both tension and movement.
The figure in 1:35 scale captures a Ukrainian soldier firing a Javelin. At this scale the folds of the clothing, the equipment and the posture are already apparent, so the figure is not meant to be merely a sense of scale next to a model but the main character of a scene. It is supplied unpainted. Exactly what the package contains, how many parts the figure is divided into and what material it is made of is stated by the manufacturer, so check that before you build.
Cut any excess material and traces of production off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder carefully so as not to damage the detail. Wash and degrease the figure before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold on the surface. If the parts are not polystyrene, secure the joints with super glue. Leave the face and the hands until last and work on them in good light, because they are what decides whether the figure looks alive.
A vehicle model, a base, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
