A set of resin castings of modern American army canisters in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. It is not a vehicle kit but a detail accessory with which you can bring the stowage of modern United States vehicles, luggage baskets or a diorama scene to life. The castings faithfully capture the shape of the pressed sheet metal, the beads and the closures.
Canisters are standardized transport containers for fuel and water, which the United States Army uses in a modern form to this day. Three handles, pressings in the walls for stiffness and a quick-release closure are characteristic. Vehicles carry them in brackets on the body, on the fenders or in stowage baskets.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean the surfaces up. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and do the sanding with respiratory protection. Varying the shades, rubbing the edges and discreet dust pigments will give the containers a used look.
The accessory does not contain the model itself, nor glue or paints. It is meant for completing an existing kit.
