1:35 US paratroopers after jump set is a resin arrangement of figures of American paratroopers captured shortly after touching down, ready for a diorama in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin arrangement of figures of American paratroopers at the moment when the jump is behind them. Black Dog carries this sub-range both as single figures and as a shared box that brings them together into one scene. The castings come unpainted and without a base, so the final appearance arises only under the modeler's brush.
The phase immediately after landing is rewarding for a diorama: the harness is being unbuckled, the equipment rearranged and the soldier is looking around him. The figures therefore work beside models of transport aircraft, beside gliders and in a ground scene of their own with tall grass or a hedge, where they look natural even without further accessories. Resin holds crisp edges and fine shapes better than an injection mold, which on figures in this scale shows mainly on the equipment.
First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water so that the residue of the mold release agent disappears. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw, even the surfaces out with a file and protect your breathing while sanding. Cyanoacrylate glue holds the joints; once it has dried the base coat comes in turn and only then the muted field shades. Pull the equipment out with a dry brush and shade the face with oils.
