The second sheet of the paper line American posters WWII 1:35 from the manufacturer Royal Model. A finished print to cut out and glue into a scene.
Responsibility details are not available.
A continuation of the paper line from the brand Royal Model. Printed on the sheet are further motifs of American war graphics in reduction, which the modeler cuts out and places in their scene. The print is finished; no parts are assembled and nothing has to be bent.
The difference is substantial. A decal is slid off in water and adapts to the shape of the surface, whereas a paper cut-out keeps a thickness of its own and on a wall looks like a sheet that has really been pasted up. On a rough surface, therefore, first dampen the motif and press it down, so that it follows the joints and the grain of the plaster. On smooth wood, on the other hand, a drop of thin adhesive spread with a brush is enough.
American propaganda of the Second World War relied on strong color and a simple message. Alongside recruitment and bonds, themes such as work discipline in factories, safety at work and the involvement of women in production appeared, and it is exactly this circle that is cited most often today. The motifs therefore suit settings where things are made and repaired, not only the battlefield. An interesting contrast comes about when the same surface appears on a building damaged by the war.
The paper sheets are unpainted and not prepared for gluing; you will not find an adhesive in the box.
