An injection-molded plastic kit of the Toyota FJ43 off-road vehicle in the hard top version in 1:35 scale from AK Interactive. It is a new tooling with a detailed interior, steerable front wheels and several color marking options from the decals supplied. It also offers optional wheel variants.
The Toyota FJ43 is part of the legendary FJ40 series of 4x4 off-road vehicles that Toyota has built since the 1950s. The vehicles became famous for their durability, simple maintenance and reliability, thanks to which they found use in civilian and military service all over the world for decades. The hard top version is among the most widespread variants of the whole series.
Thin cement for plastic works well, as does assembling the interior and the chassis before closing the body. For a faithful look we recommend a primer, an airbrush and then bringing the details out with washes and pigments. On an off-road vehicle, mud and dust effects on the chassis and the fenders stand out. Gloss varnish under the decals makes settling them easier.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
