This 1:35 scale kit from AFV Club represents the British Valentine infantry tank in its Mk.I version. It is an injection-molded plastic model to be assembled and painted. The box contains plastic parts, clear parts, a photo-etched fret, turned metal parts, vinyl parts and a decal sheet for period markings.
The Valentine was a British infantry tank developed in the late 1930s and fielded from the early years of the Second World War. It stood out for heavy armor and reliability, but it was fairly cramped and at first armed with a gun of smaller caliber. It served the British Army and its allies on a number of fronts and became one of the most numerously produced British tanks of its day.
Assemble and, if you wish, paint the running gear first, and close the hull only afterwards. Use liquid cement for plastic and apply a primer. We recommend spraying the characteristic British green with an airbrush; washes and pigments for dust and mud effects suit the weathering well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
