A separate resin figure in 1:35 in a restful position. The Waffen-SS marking is a statement about the type of uniform, that is about the cut of the clothing and the camouflage pattern you will be painting. The Anorakanzug is a winter suit of anorak cut with a loose blouse and trousers, on period examples with a reversible treatment with a white and a camouflaged side. The figure is an add-on for a diorama or for a finished vehicle model.
The second variant of the stance
The marking pose No. 2 means that this is a different variant of the same figure from the item with the number 1. That is exactly why the two go well together: two different resting positions side by side read more naturally than two identical figures. The particular stance is apparent from the illustration on the packaging.
Wash the casting in lukewarm water with dish soap to remove the remains of mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw and level the faces after the cut with a file; sanding resin is best done wet and with your breathing protected. Look over the mold parting lines against the light and remove any flash with a scalpel. With a restful pose, try the seating on a base dry beforehand and level any unevenness by sanding the underside. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue, fill the gaps and sand them down.
Start the painting with a primer. Build the white side of the suit on a light gray base and leave pure white for the crests of the folds, or the surface will flatten out. Paint the camouflaged surface in the order base, larger blotches, fine drawing with a thin brush and a unifying filter. Let a dark wash run into the folds and light the edges carefully, so that the fabric gains volume. Paint the skin separately and in calm transitions. Bring the whole together with a matte clear coat and dust the footwear and the lower part of the clothing with pigment to match the base the figure will stand on.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
