A resin figure set in 1:35 scale from the Polish maker PANZER ART. It captures German grenadiers in combat gear from the period of the fighting in Normandy in 1944. The set is an aftermarket accessory meant to bring dioramas and vehicle scenes to life; it is not a complete vehicle model.
The Waffen-SS grenadiers were motorized and mechanized infantry committed in Normandy in the summer of 1944 in the defense against the Allied invasion. A camouflage smock and helmet, belt equipment, assault rifles and Panzerfausts were typical. The figures capture the uniform and armament of the period.
First wash the resin parts clean of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the mold seams. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. For camouflage uniforms an airbrush and brush shading both work well; the faces and the equipment are finished off with oil paints and pigments.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, in resin. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
