This set from the manufacturer AFV Club is not a standalone model of a vehicle but a detail accessory for dioramas and vehicles in 1:35 scale. It holds a set of British fuel cans in two sizes - a larger and a smaller capacity - which were widely used by British units during the Second World War. The package is made up of injection-molded plastic sprues complemented by photo-etched metal for the fine details.
The containers will liven up the cargo beds of vehicles, the loads of trailers, supply positions and infantry scenes. Thanks to the two sizes you can create a realistically varied fuel dump or a transport crate load.
Cut the parts out of the sprues and glue them with liquid cement for plastic, and bend the fine photo-etched components with care. Spray the base coat with an airbrush and add scuffed edges, rusty patches and dust with washes and pigments. A combination of matte and dented surfaces will give the cans a worn look.
This is an add-on set, not a model of a vehicle. Paints, glue and the vehicle are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
