This set contains printed period road and direction signs from the Second World War in 1:35 scale. It is not a model but a paper accessory that gives a scene the navigational and informational items typical of a wartime setting. The designs are printed on quality paper with faithful colors and typography.
You glue the signs onto rods, posts or the walls of buildings and place them along roads, at crossroads or by entrances. They create the reference points of a scene and help to tell the story of a diorama.
Cut the designs out and glue them onto thin plastic or a wooden stick, so that they stand on their own. For a three-dimensional effect a sign can be backed on both sides. Light dirtying with pastel or a wash deepens the impression of use in the field.
The accessory is supplied as printed paper sheets to be cut out. Supporting rods, glue, paints and a model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
