This is a detail accessory, not a kit. The set from Tetra Model Works holds photo-etched parts and additional metal parts with which you lift the detail of a plastic kit of the aircraft carrier Intrepid in 1:350 scale. It typically adds fine railings, platforms, ladders, radar screens and an anchor chain.
USS Intrepid (CV-11) is an American Essex-class aircraft carrier of the period of the Second World War. She served in the Pacific, went through several modernizations and today is preserved as a museum ship. The Essex class formed the backbone of US naval aviation in the second half of the war.
Separate the photo-etched parts, shape them along the bends and glue them on with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Work from the large platforms toward the fine railings and add the small metal parts last. Degrease the surfaces and apply a primer before painting. The set is meant for experienced ship modelers.
