Eduard flags and pennants of the Kaiserliche Marine STEEL in 1:350 scale is a set of color-printed steel photo-etched parts that bring models of Imperial German Navy ships to life. It is not a kit but a detail accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is NOT a kit. It is a set of color-printed steel photo-etched parts from the Czech manufacturer Eduard that adds faithful flags, pennants (narrow signal flags) and other textile features in 1:350 scale to models of Imperial German Navy ships (the Kaiserliche Marine). The printing is done on both sides, so a flag looks realistic even when seen from behind.
Unlike brass, steel photo-etched metal can be formed into a ripple and so imitate a flag in the wind, while holding its shape. The set suits battleships, cruisers and smaller vessels of the First World War period. The particular ensigns and pennants correspond to the era of the Imperial German Navy.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and carefully form the steel photo-etched metal into the ripple you want with your fingers or with tweezers. It is glued with a small amount of cyanoacrylate glue. The color printing does not need to be oversprayed; for protection it can be gone over with a matte or semi-gloss transparent clear coat.
The set is an accessory, not a model. The ship model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
