An injection-molded plastic kit of the diesel-electric submarine Type 033G (Wuhan class) of the PLA Navy, in 1:350 scale from the manufacturer Hobby Boss. The model has a detailed full hull and comes with photo-etched parts and a stand. It is meant to be assembled, painted and displayed.
The Type 033G Wuhan is a trials modification of a Chinese submarine derived from the older Romeo class, fitted with launchers for anti-ship guided missiles. It served to prove out the weapon system and carries a conventional torpedo armament as well. It is a later development branch of the diesel-electric submarines of this generation.
Glue the hull halves with a thin cement, sand the joint and clean it up. We recommend a primer and painting with an airbrush; you can bring a uniform matte shade to life by accenting the hatches, the seams and the launch silos. Glue the photo-etched parts, the propeller and the small antennas with cyanoacrylate glue and set the model on the stand supplied.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
