A photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for superdetailing a model of the German light cruiser SMS Emden in 1:350 scale. It is the second, supplementary fret, which extends the detailing options with further fine metal elements. It is not a ship kit but a metal accessory to a plastic model.
The parts are cut from the fret, bent along the etched lines and glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Fine elements are painted only after they are attached. Given how small the parts are, tweezers and good lighting pay off.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
