1:350 Tirpitz is a photo-etched detail set from Eduard for the plastic kit of the German battleship Tirpitz in 1:350 scale. It is an accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set is a detail accessory, not a model on its own. It holds precisely etched brass parts for improving the plastic kit of the battleship Tirpitz in 1:350 scale. It typically brings fine railings, ladders, radar and crane lattices and detail for the superstructures, the boats and the armament that plastic cannot render faithfully.
The Tirpitz was the second German battleship of the Bismarck class and one of the largest warships ever built in Europe. She spent much of the Second World War as a standing threat in the Norwegian fjords, where she tied down considerable Allied forces. She was armed with heavy main-battery guns and an extensive anti-aircraft battery.
Separate the parts from the fret carefully and bend them on a firm surface, ideally with a photo-etch bender. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with epoxy. Paint the railings only after they are in place, best with an airbrush in the shade of the hull and the superstructures.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
