The set brings color-printed flat items for the interior of a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 108 Taifun in 1:32 scale. According to the name it is an updated version of the complete interior, that is not only the instrument panel but the fit of the cabin as a whole. The items are applied directly to the parts of the kit and replace the slow business of coloring small areas by hand. It is based on the dimensions of the Eduard kit.
The Bf 108 Taifun was a four-seat all-metal low-wing monoplane with retractable landing gear, automatic slots on the leading edge and a glazed cabin that was surprisingly roomy for its day. It was created as a sporting and touring machine for long-distance competitions and soon became a liaison and courier aircraft. The design methods the team around Willy Messerschmitt tried out on it then carried over into the Bf 109 fighter. The extensive glazing means that the inside of the cabin really is clearly visible on a finished model, and that is precisely why a detail set pays off on this type.
First level and degrease the parts of the cabin, because the color items hold only on a smooth, clean surface. It is advisable to spray the base with a dark primer, so that any gaps do not glow. Lay the items down one at a time and press them from the center outward with a soft stick. Complete the interior before you join the fuselage permanently.
The set serves as an accessory to a kit; neither the kit nor paints are included in the package.
