Decalcas decals capturing the 205 Turbo 16 in the form that the car carried in 1985 with the works support of Peugeot and Shell markings. The sheet suits a modeler who has a corresponding model in 1:24 scale and wants to give it the exact form of the peak season.
The small 205 Turbo 16 shared practically only the silhouette with its production namesake. Under the hinged rear end hid a force-fed four-cylinder mounted transversely behind the crew, the power went to all four wheels and the whole car stood on a tube frame with removable plastic covers. This concept proved extraordinarily effective: the year 1985 brought the French marque its peak in the world championship and the 205 Turbo 16 became one of the cars that people connect with Group B first of all. Shell was among the brands whose logo accompanied the works entries of the time.
The body of the 205 Turbo 16 is full of sharp transitions — the flank passes into an intake opening, the rear end into a wing. Large motifs are therefore better divided with a blade into two parts and stuck down separately from both sides of the edge than pulled over the break by force. The joint then disappears under the final layer of varnish.
