A set of pre-cut masks in 1:24 scale for a model of the endurance Porsche 935 K3 built by the Kremer team, in the particular sponsor livery of Gozzy Italya. With the masks, parts of the livery are sprayed instead of decals being stuck on, which on large areas of color has a fundamental advantage: sprayed paint has no edge of carrier film, it does not wrinkle on the edges and once coated with varnish it merges optically with the body.
The Porsche 935 was created as a racing derivative of the production 911 with a turbocharged engine and was the terror of endurance races at the end of the 1970s. The team of the Kremer brothers from Cologne built its own version designated K3, which went further in its modifications than the factory cars, and it was precisely with it that they achieved the greatest success any private team ever achieved with a car of this category.
Let the body cure thoroughly before masking; on fresh paint a mask will pull the color away. Press the edges of the masks carefully and spray in thin coats, as a thick layer works its way under the edge. Take the mask off while the paint is not yet completely hard, slowly and at a sharp angle. On a multicolor livery work from the light color to the dark one and let the layer dry properly in between.
The masks are an accessory, not a kit. The model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
