Bonnet Pin type 1 1:12 (Decalcas)

An aftermarket detail set, not a kit. It adds the quick-release hood pins typical of racing and sports cars, which hold the front hood down in place of a conventional catch. The parts are resin (3D printed) from Decalcas, in the type 1 form, for 1:12 scale.

Use

• Cut the parts away from the print supports with a sharp knife.
• Wash off any uncured print resin residue and let them dry.
• Glue them to the matching points on the front hood with cyanoacrylate glue.
• Paint them in metallic shades for a realistic hardware look.
