An accessory for large models in 1:12 scale focused on quick release fasteners for panels. It is not a kit but a set of small parts distributed over the body. The name Dzus marks a type of fastener that has been used in motorsport and in aviation so long that it has become a general term, and Type 1 then gives the particular version.
The principle is a quarter turn: a screwdriver turns the head through ninety degrees and the panel is released, or drawn tight to the frame instead. A mechanic takes the bodywork off in a moment without worrying about screws, which get lost in the pit lane.
