Sierra Carglass/Autoglass White is a white Number Five shade named after the finish of the Ford Sierra rally and racing car. White on those cars made up the basic surface onto which the colored graphics only then came.

A white shade from the Number Five brand named after the finish of the Ford Sierra with the Carglass and Autoglass markings. On the circuit cars of the late 1980s it was exactly the white that made the surface which carried everything else.
The Ford Sierra RS Cosworth was presented in 1986: a turbocharged two-liter four-cylinder with a head from Cosworth, rear-wheel drive and an unmissable wing across the whole width of the tailgate. A year later came the RS500 version, built in a small series for homologation into Group A, and at the end of the 1980s it dominated circuit championships across Europe and a number of endurance events. The names Carglass and Autoglass belong to the same trade of auto glass repair and appeared on the cars according to which market racing was being run in. That is why they stand side by side in the name of the shade, even though it is one and the same finish.
The RS500 version is told from the base Cosworth by an added lower spoiler under the front grille and by a second blade on the rear wing. The shade does not handle the colored stripes and lettering of a scheme, as it covers the continuous white surface with which the whole build of a body begins.
