Glass jars for paints from Number Five: empty containers for storing mixed shades.
Responsibility details are not available.
Empty glass containers meant for storing paint. A modeler needs them in two situations: when a shade has been mixed and is to be on hand six months later, when the model is being finished, and when paint is decanted out of a damaged or badly sealing container. Glass has the advantage over plastic that solvents do not attack it and that you can see inside, so you can tell how much paint is left and how far the pigment has settled.
Always label the jar, and do it straight away rather than later: the shade, the date and the mixing ratio. An unlabeled container of dark paint becomes worthless after a while, because you have no idea what is in it. It pays to drop a small stainless ball into the jar, which will stir the settled pigment up when shaken. Wipe the neck after filling, otherwise paint will dry in the thread and the lid will stop sealing. Do not expose glass jars to frost and store them so that they cannot fall.
For modelers who mix their own shades, for those who work on a model over a longer period, and for anyone who wants leftover paint stored so that it lasts.
These are glass containers and they can break. Keep them out of the reach of children and store filled jars upright.
