A dipping ink in a lime position, that is on the border between green and yellow. It is applied generously, runs into the recesses and engraved lines of its own accord and darkens the shadow there, while on the raised surfaces only a weaker veil of color stays. The bottle holds 17 ml.
What makes it interesting is precisely that it shifts green toward the warm end of the spectrum. Over a cool blue-green base color the tone visibly warms and brightens it, turning it into a livelier green. Over a pale yellow or sand surface a more acid, more poisonous shade results, which is popular for fantasy subjects. Over white the brightest variant comes out, because a light base does not muddy the tone. Over brown or gray, by contrast, the lime is markedly subdued and mainly the drawing of the shadows remains. The saturation of the base color therefore decides whether the result will be luminous or merely darker.
