A modeling paint from the Number 5 line from the maker Number Five with the manufacturer's part number N5-X057. The line is intended for building plastic models, that is for application onto small surfaces with fine relief, where the covering power of a thin layer and the cleanness of the edges decide.
Stir the contents thoroughly before use so that the pigment settled at the bottom is dispersed again. Apply the paint in several thin layers and let each one dry; one heavy layer floods a detail and dries worse. When spraying, choose the thinning and the air pressure according to the maker's data on the packaging, while for a brush a paint somewhat thicker than for an airbrush is suitable. The surface beneath must be clean, dry and degreased. On smooth surfaces without a primer layer the paint holds worse, which is why with metal and smoothed surfaces it pays to spray a primer color first and let it cure properly.
The type of thinner and cleaner differs with modeling paints according to their composition, so follow the data on the packaging and do not mix them with paints of another nature until you have verified compatibility. Try out a new combination of paint and surface on an offcut of a sprue, not straight on the model. Close the container carefully after work and wipe the rim, otherwise the remains of paint will glue the lid on. Store in a dry place, away from frost and direct sunlight.
The paint alone is supplied. Thinner, brushes, an airbrush and a model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
