F-15E - 3D colored interior 1:48

A set of colored 3D decals from Quinta Studio for raising the level of detail in the interior of the American F-15E Strike Eagle in 1:48 scale. The elements are printed on backing decal paper, carry a raised relief and are applied as a decal: the sheet is dipped briefly in lukewarm water and the element slides off the paper into place. They have no adhesive layer of their own; they hold on gloss varnish. These are not photo-etched or resin parts. This smaller version holds the basic set of elements for the two-seat cockpit. The set is intended for models of the F-15E in this scale. The decals are shaped to the parts of the Academy kit.

What the set contains and what it is for

The front and rear instrument panels, the side consoles and the interior panels are reproduced with faithful colors, lettering and a raised relief on the controls. The pliable element seats even on intricate and slightly curved surfaces and creates the impression of three-dimensional equipment without laborious painting.

Use

• Clean and degrease the interior surfaces of the base model and go over them with gloss varnish, as the element will not hold on a matte base
• Cut the elements out, dip them in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide them off the paper onto the panels of both crew stations
• Press them down and work them into the shape on intricate spots; do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer at all, as they would attack the printed resin
• Suitable for more advanced modelers with experience in detailing
