1:24 Mitsubishi Evo9 Wagon is a resin kit of the wagon version of the Lancer Evolution from the Alpha Model brand, cut for experienced modelers.

Alpha Model builds its sets from cast resin supplemented by photo-etched sheet, clear parts for the windows and the headlights, rubber tires and a decal sheet. The body comes as a single casting with the shapes already finished, so the center of gravity of the work lies in cleaning up, sanding down and careful varnishing. It is a set for modelers who have already worked with resin.
The Lancer Evolution IX was also sold in a wagon body under the internal designation CT9W. Under the hood worked a two-liter turbocharged four-cylinder 4G63 with variable intake timing, and the power went to all four wheels through the drivetrain. The car was produced in a small series between 2005 and 2007 and combined a roomy rear end with the running gear of a competition sedan, including a stiff suspension and an adjustable center coupling.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the remains of the mold release agent disappear. Cut off the casting gates with a saw and level the surfaces with abrasive papers gradually from coarser to finer, ideally wet and with respiratory protection. Resin is joined with cyanoacrylate glue; fill small gaps with putty. Before the color, apply a filler primer, which will reveal any remaining scratches, and spray the shade in thin coats.
The set comes as a set of castings without paint and unassembled; only you will give it its final form.
