Quinta Studio 1:72 P-40B 3D interior decals are colored, three-dimensional 3D cockpit decals for models of the Curtiss P-40B fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is NOT a kit, but a cockpit detail accessory. The colored Quinta Studio 3D decals are printed on backing decal paper, are layered and raised, and look three-dimensional once settled in place. They give a model a colored instrument panel, side consoles, levers, the seat and the seat belts with no painting. Intended for models of the Curtiss P-40B fighter in 1:72 scale. The decals are cut for the P-40B kit from Airfix.
The Curtiss P-40 was an American single-seat fighter of the Second World War. The early P-40B versions became famous above all with the volunteer Flying Tigers group in China, where they carried the characteristic shark mouth on the nose. They were powered by the Allison V12 engine, and the machine stood out for its toughness and its speed in a dive.
Cut the part from the sheet, soak it in lukewarm water for about 15 seconds and slide it off the paper into place in the cockpit. The elements have no adhesive layer; they hold on gloss varnish (Future/Klear, Tamiya X-22), and on uneven surfaces a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as they will attack the printed resin. The seat belts can be gently shaped.
This is a separate detail accessory. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
