This fine resin, 3D printed detail set from the Czech manufacturer CMK in 1:35 scale brings the barrels of the chin turret armament of the AH-1G Cobra attack helicopter, a minigun and a grenade launcher, two of each. It is not a model of the helicopter but an accessory that replaces the coarser plastic parts and markedly raises the level of detail on the nose turret.
The chin turret of the Cobra could carry various combinations of armament: a minigun with a grenade launcher, a pair of miniguns or a pair of grenade launchers. With two of each weapon, the set lets you build the barrels to match the configuration you choose. The 3D printing captures the fine detail of the barrels and the cooling holes that gets lost in plastic.
Take the parts off the print supports carefully and clean them up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the surface before painting and use a primer; pick the metal parts out with a dark wash and a fine dry brush.
This is a resin accessory, not a model. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
