A decal sheet in 1:48 scale for the captured Focke-Wulf Fw 190 F-8 in Yugoslav service, listed under serial number 930838.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was a German fighter with a radial engine, which differs at first glance from the slim cowlings of inline-engined machines by its mighty blunt nose. The F-8 version came about as the ground attack variant for strikes on ground targets: it was given thicker armor around the cockpit and racks for bombs. Some of these machines ended up after the war in the hands of other users, who re-marked them according to their own practice.
The set concentrates on a single captured aircraft in Yugoslav service, listed under serial number 930838. The contents are a standalone decal sheet in 1:48 scale, that is, markings for a kit you already have. Shape parts and modifications of the model are not included.
The sheet is for modelers drawn to the postwar fates of German equipment and to color schemes outside the usual German palette. It is a rewarding way to turn an ordinary Fw 190 kit into a machine you will not see at a show in a hurry. Unless stated otherwise, this is a standalone decal sheet; the kit, paints and glue are not in the package.
