1:35 Numbers Set from RT-Diorama supplies dioramas with numerical details, from house numbers to the marking of doors and storage sections.
Responsibility details are not available.
Numbers are everywhere in an urban landscape, and yet they are nearly always missing on models. This set of numerals from RT-Diorama in 1:35 scale pays off that debt: a house gets its street number, a door its sequential marking, a store the numbers of its sections and a platform its track. A small thing the viewer may not consciously register, and yet with it the scene suddenly feels inhabited and real.
Think the logic of the numbering through in advance; neighboring houses carry consecutive numbers and the viewer notices inconsistencies subconsciously. Glue the elements spot by spot onto a finished surface and blend them with the wall using a very thin tone of the plaster; on metal doors, rust runs below a number look good. Do not hesitate to use the rest of the set for small things, such as a number on a garden fence or a plate above a cellar window.
For diorama builders in 1:35 scale who build urban and industrial scenes, and for everyone who likes to take scenery down to the last detail. The universal character of the numerals is tied to no particular country or period, so they will serve from scenes of the 1930s to the present day, in civilian as well as military form. It pays to keep the set in stock permanently, as some number or other will find a place in practically every build to come.
