This is not a kit of the aircraft, but a detail set from the maker HGW out of the Basic Line range. At its core are fabric seat belts of fine microfiber together with etched metal clasps. Fabric belts bend naturally and come across more faithfully than belts of plastic or of photo-etch alone. The set is intended for a model of the legendary British fighter Spitfire Mk.IX in 1:24 scale and usually comes with masks as well. The set is intended for the Airfix kit.
The fabric belts are assembled, threaded through the clasps and shaped into a natural position; they are glued with super glue or with white glue. The belts can be toned and weathered for an even more faithful look.
The set is an addition to a base kit, which it does not include.
