A set of colored 3D self-adhesive decals for fitting out the cockpit of the two-seat F-16D fighter in 1:72 scale in detail. The details are printed on a flexible film, have real depth and the sheen of instruments, and are applied straight onto the plastic parts of the interior. These are not wet decals and not photo-etched or resin parts; the result is the look of a carefully painted cockpit without the slow painting of small displays and dials. The set is intended for the Revell kit.
The contents are raised colored elements of the instrument panels, the side consoles, the multifunction displays and further controls of both crew stations of the two-seat version. The fine printing brings out even the details that are hard to paint by hand.
The individual elements are carefully cut out of the carrier film, moved into place with tweezers and pressed down; the self-adhesive layer will usually hold them, and the joint can be secured as needed with a small drop of cyanoacrylate or PVA glue. It is a good idea to have the base smooth and degreased and to bring the interior into tune beforehand with a base cockpit color.
This is an accessory for detailing, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
