1:32 310th Squadron RAF, part II - Hawker Hurricane Mk.I is a decal set from AML with the markings of two machines and additional masks for models of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of waterslide decals in 1:32 scale brings markings for the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I fighter in the service of the 310th Czechoslovak Squadron of the RAF. It is the second part of the series devoted to this unit and it holds the markings of two particular machines (the code letters NN-A and NN-P) together with additional masking templates for an exact finish on the national insignia and the glazing. The set is intended for models of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I; the kit itself is not included in the package.
The 310th fighter squadron was the first Czechoslovak squadron established in Great Britain in 1940 and went into action as early as during the Battle of Britain. Its Hurricanes carried the British camouflage scheme with RAF national insignia and personal as well as unit markings, thanks to which they are among the favorite themes of modelers with a tie to Czechoslovak aviation history.
Apply the decals onto a smooth gloss varnish, which will prevent dulling under the film. Treat the area under the decal with a softener even after it has dried, so that it seats into the detail, and finally coat the set over with a matte or semi-gloss clear varnish. Stick the enclosed masks onto the glazing and spray the matching shade of the cockpit.
