About product

Colored Paper Plants - Musa Trees (Green Stuff World)

This is scenic material, not a kit. The sheet contains fine, laser-cut paper leaves shaped like the leaves of the banana plant (the genus Musa), from which you put together realistic tropical plants. The material is already colored, so it is usable even without a finish; even so, going over it with paint is recommended for the greatest effect. It suits building a jungle, a rainforest, a swamp or a shoreline.

Use

  • Separate the parts carefully from the fret.
  • An airbrush is ideal for coloring them, and a brush works too: apply the paint sparingly so that the paper does not get soaked.
  • Let the parts dry completely before assembly.
  • PVA glue (white glue) will manage the assembly, but cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) is best.
  • Varnishing them after coloring will increase the durability of the plants.

Who it is for

  • Builders of dioramas and vignettes with tropical or subtropical vegetation.
  • Wargamers who are finishing the bases of figures and gaming terrain.
  • Railway and scenic modelers.

The scenic material is supplied as a sheet of leaves to cut out and assemble. Paints, glue and varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.

FAQ

It is a sheet of laser-cut leaves that you separate from the fret and glue into plants. The material is colored, but we recommend going over it with paint.

They can be glued with PVA as well as cyanoacrylate glue; color them ideally with an airbrush, or carefully with a brush and a minimum of paint, so that the paper does not get soaked.

The leaves are a universal scenic element suited to the common diorama scales; you set the size of the plant by how many leaves you join together.
